VCE Studio Arts: Top Arts: Introductory talk & Folio & support materials viewing

Year 11 and 12 Studio Arts students attended a 45 minutes’ introductory talk by two art students from this study in 2018 who have received the highest marks for folio development. This particular talk helped our students to gain insight into the themes and ideas, working methods, materials, techniques and sources of inspiration of a range of exhibiting artists. This talk includes discussion of support and development material and links to outcomes in the VCE Art and Studio Arts study designs. Students also had the opportunity to view some best portfolios to get ideas that can be used in their own studio process.

VCE VCD: Top Designs: The design Industry

Year 11 and 12 VCD students attended a highly valuable talk from industry professionals and VCAA assessors regarding the completion of Unit 3/4 Visual Communication Design. Furthermore, it showcases all of the very best design works from this study in 2018. This excursion assists and boost our students’ motivation to expand their capacity beyond what they think they could do. While staying at the exhibition, students will closely observe specific folios that contains similar concepts that they aim to focus on this year, and they will get some inspirations to incorporate in developing their own folios.
